S came up with a nefarious plan the other day...

Sylvia is showing a strong carnivorous tendency, or at least stuffyvorous...

...but I will not open my mouth. You may have some porridge around somewhere.

Sylvia has started to realize that if she smiles with her mouth open, she sometimes get a spoon full of yucky porridge. Now, she mostly smiles with her mouth firmly shut.

Oh, and Vidar's concentration is unbreakable. He's not even fazed by a father looming over him with a camera in hand...

Sylvia has started favouring her thumb. Previously she was trying to get the entire fist into her mouth, but she seem to have decided that it's easier with just the thumb. Funny, her brothers never did that.

This is Sylvia with a maple seed nose. It looks kinda distinguished, doesn't it?

When my son Vidar was 4 years, I happened to tell him he would probably move into a place of his own in the distant future. This really provoked him, and he told me he would never do such a thing. A more experienced parent would have answered something along the lines of: "Of course you won't, dear." But since Vidar is my eldest son, I said no such thing.

V & H has gotten a sister! Last saturday (10/1 -09), at 18:09 little Sylvia ("forrest girl") was born. Both she and Linda have managed very well, so me and the boys got them home from the maternity ward the day after (ie yesterday).

Labor started in the night before (around 2:00), but Linda let me sleep til 8:30. Then we called a friend about taking care of the boys. When we called the maternity ward - they said they were full, and pomissed to call back. A couple of minutes later - they called and asked us to wait until 10 o'clock. Not a perfect start.

We have three images like this, where one to three members of the family moves. Little sister is in the exact same pose in all of them!
